Aaron Kan

Hi I'm Aaron - a D.C based musician, educator, and composer. I'm a graduate of Berklee College of Music where I studied guitar performance. As an actively working musician, I've toured playing multiple instruments for the National Tour of Chicago the Musical and I have worked as a composer for various theatrical productions in the D.C area.

As an instructor I provide a very personalized approach, as I've found in my experience teaching everyone has different needs and I'm happy to find what works for you. I have experience working with a wide range of ages and experience levels. My students range from children first picking up an instrument, to teens getting ready for college auditions, to adults picking their instrument back up for the first time in years.

I teach guitar in for a wide range of styles including: jazz, pop, rock, folk, blues, and bossa nova. In addition to guitar I also teach music theory, bass guitar, and basic keyboard techniques.
